Partners Terms

These Partner Terms explain how the Configo partner programme works and what we expect from partners. They apply in addition to our Terms of Use and the Referral Terms.

1. Becoming a partner

  1. To join the programme you submit an application on the Partners page. We review every application manually and may decline it without giving a reason.
  2. When an application is approved, we activate the partner account, set the partner’s share (see section 3) and a credit limit, and the partner sets a password through the usual password-reset flow.
  3. A partner account is a regular Configo account with an additional Partner section. Everything in these Terms applies to that section only.

2. Clients

  1. A partner invites clients with the referral link from the Partner section. A person who registers through that link becomes the partner’s client and appears in the partner’s client list.
  2. While a person is a partner’s client, the client cannot buy or change a plan on their own — the Billing section is closed for them, and plans are assigned by the partner.
  3. The partner may edit a client’s profile details (name, phone, company, address). The partner never gets access to the client’s password, email, projects or data.
  4. The partner may detach a client at any time. The client’s current plan stays active until it ends; from then on the client manages billing on their own. Detaching does not delete the record of who invited the client.
  5. A client may ask Configo support to be detached from a partner.

3. Plans and prices

  1. The partner assigns a client one of the public plans (choosing the number of members and the billing period), or creates an own plan for that client: it is based on a public plan, has the same limits and features, and a price set by the partner.
  2. For every plan assigned, Configo charges the partner the plan’s total for the chosen period minus the partner’s share — a percentage we set when approving the partner. The price of an own plan is the price this calculation is made from.
  3. The partner may change a client’s plan before it ends. The unused part of what the partner paid for the old plan is returned to the partner’s balance, and the new plan is charged in full from the day of the change.
  4. Whatever the partner charges the client is entirely between the partner and the client. Configo does not accept payments from partner clients and does not issue documents to them. The “client price” a partner may store next to an own plan is for the partner’s own reference and has no effect on what Configo charges.

4. Balance and settlement

  1. Each partner has a balance in the Partner section. Charges for clients’ plans are debited from it immediately, so the balance shows the partner’s current debt to Configo. Every charge and refund is listed in the balance history.
  2. The balance may go negative up to the partner’s credit limit. When a new charge would exceed the limit, the plan is not assigned until the debt is settled or the limit is raised.
  3. The partner settles the debt with Configo by the means and on the schedule agreed at approval. Until a payment method is available in the Partner section, settlements are made outside the Service and recorded on the balance by Configo.
  4. The partner is solely responsible for their own taxes, invoicing and accounting in connection with the programme.

5. Partner responsibilities

  1. Use the programme in good faith and in accordance with applicable laws.
  2. Ensure the accuracy of any information entered on behalf of clients, and enter it only with the client’s consent.
  3. Avoid fraud, aggressive advertising or misleading clients about what Configo is and what it costs.
  4. Maintain the confidentiality and security of client data.
  5. Refrain from using the Configo brand in ways that may harm its reputation.
  6. Do not create fake accounts or self-referrals.
  7. Do not engage sub-partners without prior written permission.

6. Configo’s responsibilities

  1. Provide a functioning Partner section and access to the features described here.
  2. Show the partner’s balance, credit limit, share and full balance history in the Partner section.
  3. Respect the privacy of partner and client data.
  4. Notify partners about important changes in the programme terms.

7. Suspension and termination

  1. We may suspend or close a partner account for a breach of these Terms, the Terms of Use or the Acceptable Use Policy, or if the partner does not settle their debt.
  2. When a partner account is closed, its clients keep their current plans until they end and then manage billing on their own. The partner’s outstanding debt remains payable.

8. Changes to the partner programme

Configo reserves the right to modify or terminate the partner programme at any time at its discretion. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and we will notify you of significant changes by email or through our Services.
