Questions before you start
Do I have to give up my spreadsheets and ERP on day one?
No. Every part of Configo is optional — many teams start with just the calculator for one product and add orders, warehouse and documents later. A REST API is there when you want to connect your own systems.
How do I get my current price list in?
Import it from Excel: export the template, fill in your materials and prices, upload it back. Or hand the price list to your AI assistant over MCP and let it build the materials and the configurator for you.
Who can see my purchase prices?
Only the people you allow. Purchase, retail and dealer prices have separate permissions per role, and a widget link shows a visitor exactly the price you chose for that link.
Does the calculator account for waste and cutting?
Yes. A material can carry a waste percentage that is added to every calculated quantity, and formulas can round up, take minimums and depend on conditions — so offcuts and fixed hardware kits are priced the way you actually build.
