Files
Upload and manage project files — images, documents, and other assets — with public or private access.
Overview
The Files page is your project's general-purpose file storage — for assets that don't belong to a specific material, order, or wiki page (logos, reference PDFs, spec sheets, anything you want a stable link to). Open Settings → Files in the project sidebar. Managing files requires the Edit project permission.
Uploading a file
Click Upload in the top-right corner, choose a file, and decide its access:
- Public — accessible to anyone with the direct link, no login required. Use this for anything you intend to link to from outside Configo (e.g. in an email, or embedded on your own website).
- Private (default) — only accessible to people signed in with access to this project.
Click Upload to confirm. There's a 3 MB size limit per file.
The file list
Each row shows the file's name (with a type icon), size, upload date, and access level. Use the buttons on the right to:
- Copy — copies a link to the file to your clipboard. For a public file this is the permanent direct URL; for a private file it's a signed link that expires after 7 days — regenerate a new one with Copy again once it expires, rather than expecting the old link to keep working indefinitely.
- Download — downloads the file directly.
- Delete — removes the file permanently.
Filtering
Use the filter bar above the table to narrow the list by name, type (Image, Video, Audio, Document, Archive, Other — inferred from the file's MIME type), upload date, or size.
