Contacts
Manage your project's customer base — add, edit, filter, and track the activity history of each contact.
Overview
The Contacts page is your project's CRM. It holds all the customers, leads, and other contacts associated with your project, and lets you track their details, type, status, and activity history.
Contact list
Contacts are shown in a table with the following columns:
- Name — the contact's display name and type badge (e.g. Lead, Client).
- Phone / Email — contact details, shown together in one column.
- Date — creation and last-updated dates for the contact.
- Custom fields — any custom fields you've added to the project can be toggled on or off as additional table columns (see Custom fields below).
Filtering
The filter bar at the top of the list works the same way as in Orders — click it to add one or more filters. Available filter criteria depend on your custom fields and may include search by name, type, status, and more. Each active filter appears as a chip; remove individual chips with × or clear all at once.
Adding a contact
Click the Add button in the top-right corner to open the contact form. Fill in the details and click Save.
When creating a new contact, you can set:
- Name (required)
- Phone and Email
- Address and Note
- Any custom fields defined for this project
- Type — the contact's category (e.g. Lead, Client, Partner)
New contacts are created with Active status by default.
Editing a contact
Click the edit icon on any row to open the contact's detail panel. It has two tabs:
Info
All the same fields available when creating a contact, plus Status (Active / Inactive / Blocked or similar, depending on your setup). Make your changes and click Save.
Activity log
A chronological log of all changes made to this contact — field updates, status changes, and any manual notes left from within orders. Each entry shows who made the change and when, with a before/after diff for field edits.
Deleting a contact
Click the trash icon on any row to delete the contact. The row is temporarily dimmed while deletion is in progress.
Custom fields
Project owners and members with the appropriate permission can manage custom contact fields by clicking the settings icon in the top-right corner. This opens a panel where you can:
View and reorder fields
Existing fields are listed in order. Drag a field by its handle to change its position — the order is saved automatically.
Add a field
Fill in the form at the bottom of the panel:
- Label — the display name shown in the UI.
- Name — the internal identifier, auto-generated from the label (lowercase, letters, numbers, and underscores only). You can edit it manually if needed.
- Type — the kind of input for this field: Text, Number, Date, Date & Time, or Select.
- Options — if the type is Select, add the list of options (up to 10). At least one option is required.
- Required — toggle on to make this field mandatory when creating or editing a contact.
Click Add to save the new field.
Edit a field
Click the edit icon (or the field row itself) to edit its label, type, options, and required setting. Click Save to apply or Cancel to discard.
Delete a field
Click the trash icon next to a field to remove it. Deleting a field removes it from all contacts permanently.
Showing custom fields in the table
Click the column icon (grid icon) in the table header's last column to open the column visibility menu. Toggle any custom field on or off to show or hide it as a column in the contacts table. Your column preferences are saved between sessions.
