Price calculator for door kits

A glass door is a model, a size, a filling, a color and a set of fittings. Configo lets customers and managers build the kit from your catalog, adjust a line by percent, and see the price and the parts list.

Demo with sample prices. Yours will use your own materials and formulas.

How this calculator is built

The calculator above is a real Configo configurator, not a mockup. Yours is built in the same four steps.

01

Materials

Profiles, glass, hinges and a handle with purchase and sale prices. Profiles and glass are groups, so each becomes a picker.

02

Controls

Width, height, frame profile and glass. Limits keep the door within sizes you can actually make.

03

Formulas

Profile = perimeter in metres. Glass = (width − 100) × (height − 100) in m². Hinges: 3, or 4 when the door is taller than 2100 mm. One handle per door.

04

Result

The customer price and your internal cost update on every change, and the product name is composed from the choices. Add a fixed labor cost and Configo does the rest.

What Configo calculates

  • Door leaf: the item matching model, size, filling and color

  • Components: each line: quantity × price, with an optional percent adjustment

  • Total: the sum of all lines in retail, dealer and cost prices

  • Quote: the kit becomes a quote or an order with every line listed

What the door kit calculator handles

Built from real calculators for glass door kits.

Model, size, filling, color

Narrow the catalog step by step; only combinations that exist in your catalog are offered.

A kit made of components

The door leaf and its fittings are separate lines with their own quantities, so the quote shows what is in the box.

Adjust a line by percent

Give a discount or add a markup on a single component without touching your price list.

Add what the catalog lacks

Add a one-off material to a kit when a customer needs something that is not in your catalog yet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I sell a door together with fittings in one quote?

Yes. A kit is a list of components with quantities; the door and its fittings are priced together and shown as separate lines.

Can I give a discount on one fitting only?

Yes. Adjust a single line by a percent, up or down, while the rest of the kit keeps catalog prices.

Can I add an item that is not in the catalog?

Yes. Add a custom material to the kit for a one-off order.

Can I offer several door series?

Yes. Add each series with its own models, sizes and prices to your materials, or keep a calculator per series.
