Price calculator for roller blinds and shades
Configo turns your blinds workshop price list into a calculator: the customer or your manager picks size, fabric and system, and the price and the list of parts are calculated from your formulas. No spreadsheet, no recalculating by hand.
Demo with sample prices. Yours will use your own materials and formulas.
How this calculator is built
The calculator above is a real Configo configurator, not a mockup. Yours is built in the same four steps.
Materials
Fabrics, systems and the reinforced tube are entered once: purchase and sale price, waste percentage and a unit. Fabrics share one group, so they become a single picker.
Controls
Width, height, fabric and system. Width and height are numbers with limits; fabric and system are lists built from the material groups.
Formulas
Fabric = (width + 40) × (height + 250) in m². System = width in metres. The reinforced tube is added only when the blind is wider than 1800 mm.
Result
The customer price and your internal cost update on every change, and the product name is composed from the choices. Add a fixed labor cost and Configo does the rest.
Example: roller blinds on a cassette system
This is how one real blinds calculator is built. Prices are left out; the structure is what matters.

What Configo calculates
-
Fabric: width × height with a minimum cut length
-
Tube and profile: cut to the blind's width
-
Chain and connectors: length from the height, type from the system
-
Clips, caps and adapters: quantity depends on the chosen system
-
Labor: a fixed amount per blind
What the blinds calculator handles
Built from real calculators for roller and roman blinds.
Fabric by area, with a minimum cut
Fabric consumption comes from width and height, and a minimum billable length keeps short blinds from being underpriced.
The system decides the parts
Choose a system and the right tube, profile, chain, clips and end caps are added automatically; parts for other systems are left out.
A fabric catalogue as a picker
Dozens of fabrics grouped by collection, shown as an image picker, each with its own price per square metre.
Your currency, your margin
Keep material prices in the currency you buy in and apply a price multiplier; add a fixed labor cost per blind.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use my own fabric collections?
Yes. Fabrics are materials in a group: add your collections with their prices, and they appear in the calculator as a picker, optionally with images.
How do I handle a minimum fabric consumption?
Write it into the formula, for example the larger of the real height and your minimum cut length. The calculator then never prices below it.
Can blinds with different systems share one calculator?
Yes. Add the system as a selection and attach parts to conditions such as "system is Mini"; only the parts for the chosen system are counted.
Can customers calculate blinds on my website?
Yes. The Widget embeds the calculator on your site, so customers price a blind and place the order themselves.
