What's New in Configo
Configo Team
It's been a while since we last wrote. Not because we had nothing to say, but because we got a little carried away building things. If you noticed that a few months have passed since the last announcement, you're observant, and we respect that. The upside: there's a lot to tell. Grab some tea.
Tasks, so nothing slips through
Remind a customer, call a supplier, double-check a measurement. This used to live in your head or on sticky notes. Now it lives in tasks: cards, filters, due dates, and reminders when something starts to burn. The sticky notes can enjoy a well-earned retirement.
Contacts and companies
The same customer in your database three times? We know the feeling. Configo now finds duplicates and helps you merge them. You can also set up filters however you like and export everything to CSV, in case accounting is waiting.
Emails to customers, right from the card
With your own templates, sent from your own address. A bonus for the curious: you can see who opened the email and who clicked a link. We're not spying, just providing statistics.
Reports that answer questions
Why are we losing orders? At which stage of the funnel? What should we expect next month? Reports now include rejection reasons, a funnel by stage, and a sales forecast. And you can calculate revenue "by actuals" or "by pipeline," whichever suits you.
Automations
This one's our favorite. You say: "When an order moves to this status, create a task, assign someone responsible, and email the customer." And Configo just does it, while you drink your tea. There are plenty of triggers: status change, overdue task, schedule. Every run is kept in the history, so it's always clear what happened and why.
Warehouses
A new section for anyone tired of wondering how much material is left. Multiple warehouses, stock value, shortage highlighting, and write-offs linked to orders. Order canceled? The stock goes back.
Wiki
Instructions, procedures, and "how we do things" now live inside your project instead of a chat from three months ago. Pages have version history. And while someone is editing a page, it's locked for everyone else, so nobody can accidentally overwrite your changes.
Artificial intelligence can now build calculators
We launched an MCP server. AI assistants like Claude can create and test calculators together with you. It sounds like the future, but it already works today. For those who prefer to do it themselves, we've opened up the API documentation: orders, the widget, and more.
But wait, there's more
You can now pay for a subscription in TON, and auto-renewal is chosen right at purchase. The calculator supports pinch-to-zoom. New users get helpful hints, and support answers tickets much faster. And yes, we updated the documentation too.
We're not stopping, and we promise to write more often than once every few months. And if something is missing or not working the way you'd like, let us know. We genuinely want to hear it.
