Project Roles

Project roles define the permissions and access levels for users within a project.

Role Settings

Each role has the following settings:

  • Order
    Numeric value to determine the order roles appear in lists.

  • Role Name
    The display name of the role.

  • Can manage project (Yes/No)
    Permission to change project settings.

  • Can manage members (Yes/No)
    Permission to invite, edit, or remove project members.

  • Can edit configurators (Yes/No)
    Permission to create and edit configurators.

  • Can edit orders (Yes/No)
    Permission to manage and edit orders.

  • Can edit clients (Yes/No)
    Permission to manage client information.

Default Roles

When a new project is created, two default roles are added:

Role Name Permissions
Owner All permissions granted
Manager Edit permissions only (configurators, orders, clients)

Managing Roles

You can create, edit, reorder, and delete roles as needed to fit your project’s team structure and security requirements.
